Move Your Accounts to Congressional FCU
Making the Move to Congressional is easy. This Switch Kit gives you a quick and convenient way to get your checking accounts and loans moved to one place. Just fill out the forms below, print them, sign them, and fax or mail them to us. It’s that easy! If you prefer to have a kit mailed to you instead, please call us.

• We’ll tell your current financial institution that you are making the move.
• We’ll let your employer know that you are changing your direct deposit.
• If you have automatic charges to your account - insurance premiums, health club membership, investments, etc. -we’ll inform the companies of your new Congressional FCU account.
• Wire fee reimbursement – Wiring your money from your old account to the Credit Union is the fastest and most convenient way to get started.  We’ll even reimburse you for the cost of wiring funds.
• Plus, fill out our loan survey, and find out how much money you’ll save by moving your loans to Congressional FCU.

Included in this Kit:

1. Tips to Move Your Checking Account and Loans - This form will help you make sure you have completed all the tasks that need to be done in order for you to make the move to Congressional.

2. Checking and Savings - Use this form to close your old checking and savings accounts.  To transfer the funds in these accounts to the Credit Union, you may request a wire transfer or withdraw the funds and deposit them in your Credit Union account.

3. Direct Deposit - Use this form to transfer your payroll, Social Security benefits, dividends, and other automatic deposits to the Credit Union.

4. Automatic Payments - Use this form if you have automatic charges to your old account – insurance premiums, health club membership, investments, etc. – we’ll notify the merchants of your new account information.

5. Loans - Use this form to provide information about your loans.  We will determine how much money you can save by switching these loans to the Credit Union.  You may end up with lower monthly payments too!  This form is not an application; it’s only a worksheet for a snapshot of your loans.

6. Wire Transfer - When you wire funds from your old account to the Credit Union, we will reimburse you for the fee.  This form provides instructions to let your old financial institution know where to send the money.

Fill out each of these forms you need and send them all back to us.  We’ll take care of the rest for you.
