CFCU adheres to the Fair Credit Reporting Act. CFCU completes background investigations on all potential hires including a criminal check, credit check, verification of prior employment and education, references, and drug/alcohol screen. (The drug/alcohol screen is completed post-conditional offer.) In making an application for employment, you authorize CFCU to engage an investigative consumer reporting agency to report on your credit, employment, and education records. All new hires are required to complete a fingerprinting screen which is used to check against the FBI database for records and for bonding purposes.
