36th Annual Credit Union Cherry Blossom 10 Mile Run

Sunday, April 6, 2008
Congressional FCU is a founding sponsor of this world-class race that benefits the Children's Hospitals. Your Credit Union is proud to help raise funds and awareness for the good work that these hospitals do for sick kids and their families. Year after year, thousands of runners pound the pavement across the Memorial Bridge, by the monuments, and up and down Rock Creek Parkway. Elite and Olympic athletes regularly run this race.

Several Different Races
In addition to the 10 Mile Run, there is a 5K Run/Walk and 1K Kids Run. In the team category, there's the Capitol Hill Competition where teams from the U.S. House and Senate compete for the coveted Capitol Hill Cup. There's a Credit Union Competition where credit unions across the country compete against one another.
