Responsibilities:
Assists Collection Department in all administrative, reconciliation and clerical functions. Prepares required reports by the established deadline. Ensure that all loan payments, open and charged off accounts are processed on a daily basis to the USERS System. Must have or possess ability to learn credit union's data processing and accounting systems as pertains to collection activity. Serve as the point of contact on various Collection Department projects, members and vendor inquiries.

Qualifications:
Two years college level education w/emphasis in business, accounting or related field. Two years bookkeeping and/or financial experience acceptable in lieu of formal education. Must be detail oriented, w/strong organizational and written skills. Knowledge of the principles of customer service/collections skills essential. Possess knowledge of the state & federal credit union lending and collection laws, bylaws, & regulations. Knowledge of credit status and its importance. Demonstrate an understanding of balancing, posting and verifying all financial transactions affecting daily work. Satisfactory credit background required.
